An attractive-looking and royally convenient watering hole for visitors to the area's many attractions.

This two-bar Young’s pub adjoining the Greenwich Union is not far from its centenary. For many years it resisted the urge to trendify, but now it's had a major refurbishment and all the trends are firmly ensconced. Modern-style pub grub including Sunday roasts and mac 'n' cheese two ways. Craft beers in bottle alongside a good range of cask ales. A well chosen wine list. Lots of tables in the garden and the new conservatory.

One pub with 3 very different spaces, initally you enter a small more traditional pub focused around the bar, enclosing small nooks perfect for enjoying a cosy drink. Heading further back you transition into a contemporary extension, with high ceiling with glazed roof and wall overlooking the garden, providing plenty of space for small and large groups to enjoy dinner. Lastly the garden to the rear of the pub is a cosy space with small and large tables and some external heating to the space can still be enjoyed on a chilly night. The staff are always friendly and food and drink never disappoints. One of my favourites in Greenwich!

Fantastic pub off the beaten track in Greenwich. Friendly staff and excellent beer garden.

Sadly joined the masses of character and soulless pubs after a recent 'stunning refit'. It made us realise just how good the Greenwich Union next door is.

What about the Gypsy Moth, the Mitre near St.Alfeges church, and the Spanish Galleon, to name but a few?!
