Venue says Summer lunch and early evening menu available from 12noon-6pm. Two courses £10.95; three courses £13.95. Plus a wide range of craft beers.

Located in Richmond town centre, you'll find Richmond Vault. You have to venture underground – the entrance is down some steps outside a grand Georgian townhouse – to explore the series of arches and passageways that make this bar and restaurant such a unique prospect. Despite being split over numerous levels, the maze of this place ensures all the nooks remain cosy and atmospheric, and the curved skylights ensure natural light streams in. The bar serves beer from independent breweries (Yeastie Boys, Gipsy Hill and Goose Island among them), plus wine and cocktails. Meanwhile the food menu consists of stone baked pizzas, pots of mussels, burgers and ribs.

Richmond Vault Beer Cellar & Restaurant says
The Beer Cellar & Restaurant is located in a fantastic basement sitting underneath two Georgian buildings in the town centre of Richmond Upon Thames. It is a labyrinth of cosy areas in the bar and a great restaurant on the lower levels. It has natural sunlight coming through the roof windows where it sits between the two buildings.
Originally created through the love of great beers the Richmond Vault is a charming little place that acts as a wonderful hideaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a couple of hours of relaxation.
Our venue caters for most people & events - If you just wanted a quick beverage at the bar through to a sit down meal in the restaurant or an area for your party and friends and any organised event.

It seems as though the Pigs Ear has gone under some recent changes - it is definitely a lot more hipster than it has been previously. However, it is an incredibly cosy and friendly environment and they have a brilliant selection of beers. What's even better is they still let in your four-legged friend - always a plus!

Do I miss the old vibe - probably. Will I get used to the new Pigs Ear - yes. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

I've been 'pubbing' here a few times during the day for a few drinks- their focus is beer and they boast a huge, impressive selection of it.

But recently I came here on a Friday night after seeing a show at the Richmond theatre and it was quite a different experience.

It is in a basement (they call it a cellar) and split over 2 levels. There was live music- a solo guy on his guitar who was great, it really added to the atmosphere.

We sat in the lower section to dine then moved upstairs to have drinks and listen to the music.

Even though it's quite a big space it gets very busy so be prepared to stand if you're not eating.

Mains can cost around £16 but I had a stone baked vege pizza which was £12.

A set menu option on a Friday night would've been good but it was all a la carte.

The service was very attentive too, so it's fast becoming one of my Richmond favourites.

Yummy food and an amazing selection of craft beers - which they will let you taste before you buy!

Not really a craft beer bar with only six different draught beers and three on cask. not a lot of atmosphere. Didn't try the food.

Stairs leading off the street makes it feel like you are going down into a beer cellar. It is really cosy and has a great atmosphere. Fantastic range of beers and the food is delicious! The mussels in particular were excellent! Will definitely be visiting again soon
