It's as much about the music as it is the food and drink at this popular Covent Garden spot. Expect a packed line-up of live acts, DJ sets and the chance for warblers to get in on the act themselves at karaoke nights with a rock slant.

Food wise, it's influenced by the diners and bars of the States. That means nachos, burgers, chicken wings, ribs, fajitas, hot dogs and desserts such as deep-fried vanilla cheesecake, or a chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream sandwich.

The drinks list goes big on cocktails, with beers such as Amstel, Heineken, Sol and Brooklyn Lager by the bottle.

A surprisingly decent rock bar as for central London in an uber American style (with motors, neons and burgers). I visited it with a group of girlfriends on a Friday night as they were advertising a Queen night. As fans of anything cheesy and 80s we hoped for a good night out with at least 50% of the tunes by Freddy & Co. And although for the first two hours we enjoyed some best rock tunes, as the floor was getting more and more crowded, the music was getting worse and worse. We had to put up with Justin Bieber and a mediocre cover band while during the five hours they played three Queen songs. We clearly weren’t the only disappointed guests and with a bouncer per every square meter I felt very uneasy (I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen so many in any other club before). I’d suggest go for an after work drink, but if you’re looking for a decent rock party, Roadhouse is a huge let down.

Our friend lost her phone and when she asked for help she was treated like the criminal!

I went back the next day and was not offered any assistance at all. Second time the bouncers have treated us awfully at this place, no idea why I went back! First time I was chatting to another bouncer about coming back later if we went to another bar and he was fine then the meathead head bouncer moved me on, excellent service.

Never a dull night here with the signature rock decor. Fun place to grab a bite to eat before heading out or just stay for the music here , you will have a fantastic time.

Never had a dull night in Roadhouse, love this venue. The live music, motorbike on the bar and great location means it's always in consideration after an evening out in London.

Always have a great night at Roadhouse! Get there early to get the half price cocktails! Food here is American diner style and at really good prices - lots of ways to get discounts on food. Open until 3am most nights so a good place to party mid-week. I love the Rockaoke and the Blues nights!

This is an amazing venue for parties and celebrations as they do happy hour and it's cheap and also you can dance till the end without feeling upset as there are a range of different people and also they play any song that you would like to dance too very friendy and would defiantly recommend this place to anyone

Great cocktails that are 2for1 in happy hour to 7. Lovely food and service and interesting venue. We had a deal for 50% off food and it was great so would come back at full price. Beef satay starter was AMAZING, big chunks of tender steak (on the rare side).

Recently went to the roadhouse and had an excelent time. Great cocktails and good live music.

A group of us were just reminiscing over old nights, good nights out in London and found one venue in common with the most awful experiences. Roadhouse. When I moved to London I used to love Roadhouse for great cocktails, good music and nice friendly doormen and bar staff - not any more. Avoid Roadhouse at all costs - its an awful night where quiet girls with sore feet get dragged out by several bouncers, rude management antagonizing perfectly nice and reasonable who are not drunk throwing them out of the club after paying a large entry. I could go on for ages about all the terrible things about Roadhouse. All I can is simply don't go, find somewhere fun with cheerful staff and good ratings. I've heard nothing but bad things about this awful place in such a beautiful part of our city - I was disgusted by the way I was spoken to and my friend ended up in tears on her birthday. Makes me furious just thinking about it! I will be researching who Roadhouse is owned by, lets hope something can be done. I hope my words of warning are enough to put you off.

Place seemed ok. Bouncers. Oh dear. Getting in the way of people who were having a good time. Glad I wasn't a victim. AVOID. WORSE THAN THE PLAGUE.

Do not go here. The bouncers and staff are extremely rude, obnoxious and gave me and my friend a very hard time for no reason whatsoever. This is the worst place I have ever been in London, the service was appalling, the bouncers atrociously rude and just generally ruined my night.

just don't go there went on Saturday the 18th of Feb bad service bouncer and door staff are rude don't waste your money

It's always been a favourite choice for my friends and I as a relatively cheap place for nice cocktails, however, the second you sit down for food, or forced in some cases, the attitude of some of the waitresses is disgusting. As much as I want to go back, I wouldn't after being told after reluctantly giving a tip to give her more saying; 'come on guys, that's stindgy isn't it. you may as well not give me anything.'

not surprised by the reviews below, its true, this is truly an awful venue! doormen will use any excuse to throw you out. all they want is your entry fee. they do not care if you have a good time or not.

Seriously, I cannot recommend this place. It is the first time in my life that I received bad treatment for the doorman. Also, is overcrowded, expensive and overrated ... there are too many clubs much better in London to visit. For instance, in islingthon or Camden there several options. Yesterday, I was quite dissapointed when we went with my brother who a few hours ago was landed from Miami. We wanted to have a good time in a allegedly a live music venue, but instead we received the worst service from the bald rude guy who receive the customers at doors. Finally, we left this awful place and then we went to Camden were we had wonderful time in different amazing venues much more cheaper and better service so far.

All in all a horrible place to go for a night out. Do not expect to be treated with respect. The workers act as if they do not even want or need any service. I will definitley not recommend this club to anyone and will never return myself.
