There surely can't be a more jolly place to drink in Notting Hill: colourful wooden wall-slats and furniture fill the upstairs bar, and down in the party-time basement there’s good reggae, very friendly staff and rum, rum and more rum. The selection is enormous, and you could spend weeks here without getting through it all. On the cocktail front, there are plenty of big fruity numbers, but the classicism of a perfect daiquiri makes us think this is the way to go. There’s a happy hour from 6pm to 8pm too. If you stay later, you’ll probably find yourself unable to resist the lure of jerk chicken, saltfish fritters or just an enormous bowl of sweet potato fries.
We opened this spot in 2012, a 200 capacity site nestled in the heart of Notting Hill on All Saints Road.
Since then we've been fortunate enough to gain impressive reviews from critics such as AA Gill and Grace Dent and been frequented regularly by customers such as Prince Harry, David and Victoria Beckham, Harry Styles, Nicole Scherzinger and Rita Ora.
We're open Tuesday-Sunday for dinner and Saturday and Sunday for brunch also (from 11am). Our best-sellers are the jerk chicken burger and the LDD cocktail. Just ask any of the barmen if you need help with choosing the right rum, they're some of the best in the business!
Join us every Wednesday for #WingsDay where you can enjoy unlimited jerk chicken wings, sweet potato fries and a cold Red Stripe or rum punch for £19.50! Just ask for the current record!
Hope to see you soon! Feel free to email us #NoRumNoRainbow

I visited Rum Kitchen last month for the Sunday brunch with 8 other friends at around 11am and were looking forward to a great experience. But when we arrived, staff could find no record of my friend's. When we did order our food, we waited nearly 30 minutes for dishes to arrive. One of my friend’s meals (the Full Jamaican) had half an egg shell in it (!) and the three other Full Jamaican orders were semi-cold, with sausages that were practically burnt. The staff on the day were very cooperative despite all of this, but we expected our experience to be of a higher standard – and in this case, it just didn’t meet the mark....
Had heard great reviews, so booked a table of 15 for my birthday on a Saturday night. Got there and the table wasn't ready for 45 minutes after the time we had booked it. Service was awful. Very slow, then they brought the wrong food out and then over charged us. Charged us for drinks we hadn't ordered . Food was nice and great atmosphere! But I would not recommend for a big group and I certainly won't be going back any time soon.
Absolutely loved my visit here, great Caribbean classics on option, Curry Mutton was brilliant and the Jerk Fried Chicken Burger has gone down as one of my top 'burgers'! Great demi brioche bun with a smoky scotch bonnet mayo, starters - sticky ribs and wings and salt fish fritters were also great. Cocktails were spot on, bar man suggested a Hemingway Daiquiri.. A twist on a classic daiquiri - brilliant. Will be back!
