When I went to Scarlet's I didn't pay any entry fee, however, I didn't really enjoy the place so much. Certainly they have good cocktails and ales (particularly a blonde Spanish ale called "Estrella"). The place is also very nice and cozy in terms of furniture, spaces and music (there are phonographs used as lamps). The staff however, wasn't really friendly; while I was having my beer, a member of the staff came to my table saying he needed the glass and asked if he could have substituted my glass with a plastic cup (which, by the way, had a petroleum smell); also, as soon as I nearly finished having my beer, the same member of the staff came back and just removed my plastic cup from the table, without asking. I mean, I could understand such behavior (which was meant to free the table where I was sitting) if the place would have been super crowded and with people queuing outside the door to get a table, but, it was mostly empty, so I found this behavior quite rude and unprofessional.

Really? £10 entry here? Not convinced if I'm honest and with drinks eye-wateringly overpriced as well, probably not somewhere I'll be heading back to in a hurry. The set up is fair enough but the cost associated really shocked me

We went here for some pre party drinks and had booked an area but due my own fault the booking hadn’t been fully completed but the staff were wonderful they explained what happened and went out of their way to find us an area in the downstairs bar/club we had a wonderful night helped along by their wonderful 2-4-1 happy hr. the Cocktails were spot on and they weren’t stingy with the booze as most places can be. I would and will go again the music was brilliant the staff brilliant the whole night was awesome i can actually say I’ve found a new haunt.

This place ruined our new years experience! After watching the NYE fireworks we found Scarlets and thought we would enter for cocktails. Me and my partner paid entrance via one of the door men for £120 (£60) each which was extortionate however it was new years eve and we thought we would pay similar everywhere (how wrong were we). We spent 10 minutes inside and bought a cocktail and stepped outside for fresh air, however upon attempting to enter the restaurant again we were refused entry and then the same person who sold us the tickets ignored us. At this point I realised the whole place is scam. This place is an embarrassment to London and the behaviour of being scammed is something I would expect only in a third world country. Sadly there is not much someone can do in a situation like this. We took our business elsewhere after. I would simply advise anyone against even touching this venue with a barge pole or considering going near them... Please stay away from Scarlets!
