A great new bar in the Liverpool St/Shoreditch area who opened recently! Tank & Paddle actually stands out with a few bonus points: you can book a table on the day even with a large group (so no more walking around Shoreditch for 3 hours to find a place on a Saturday night) and they have very reasonable prices, whether it is for pizzas or beers. Worth a visit!

Tastemaker

New(ish) bar at Bishopsgate offering decent pizza and lots of board games. The pizza is on a thin crust served on a long wooded board which makes it look like an actual paddle. The main beer in the bar is Meantime, delivered In Fresh Tanks straight from the brewery after maturation, which apparently make it super special. The sauff is relaxed and super friendly.

There are a lot of offers, £5 pizza on Monday, £2 beers on Wednesdays, sign up to their newsletter and get a free drink. Enough reasons to drop in.
