Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

A chic new City bar on Throgmorton Street, a short walk from Bank, specialising in spirits, beers and food made in London.

For conclusive proof that craft beer is no longer the sole preserve of East End moustache-twirlers, look no further than this slick, pocket-sized spot in the heart of London’s financial district. Aside from the pinstriped types yakking about the latest merger, it’s every bit the modish watering hole, decked out in polished tiles, upcycled gramophone lamps and a massive map of Victorian London. It’s London-only beers behind the bar (a policy that extends to the gin list), and pints are poured from 12 taps, by the third, making this the ideal spot to sink a post-work bev – or even better, a liquid lunch. Well, this is the City after all.

Very good selection of beers... Nice people.. Good atmosphere.. Good nibbles.. Good location.. Not to miss place for the beer aficionados!!

Great pub but not cheap. The beers are very tasty and the selection is broad and is always changing and the USP is that all of their beers are locally sourced craft beers. They even have a map on the wall showing you where the beers were born. The staff are excellent and so clued up. If beer isn't your thing they have homemade tonics that are devine, my favourite was the tonic infused with lemongrass. The only downside is the beer is served in one third or two thirds so you always feel a bit like you have been given a short serving.

Very friendly staff, great selection of beers! I enjoyed my visit here.

Great and regularly changing selection of London's craft beers - or 30+ London-distilled gins with home-made tonic if you prefer
