Smack bang in the middle of theatreland, this Charing Cross Road pub dates back to the late nineteenth-century. Expect decent beers and some good people watching from its vantage on the edge of Soho.

Great pub with a decent selection of beers and a great atmosphere located on of the busiest intersection in Soho! Great spot to have a drink and watch the world go by around you.

Lovely pub in the heart of the Covent Garden/ Soho area. A great selection of beers and friendly staff. A great spot for a quick drink if you’re in the area and can’t face trying to get a seat at an uber ‘trendy’ bar.

This is a decent place to go to get decent priced drinks before you head off to a bar or club. Plenty of space inside and out (good for summer days). Two single mixers and two shots comes to £15, so its a great place to start. In an ideal location too.

Convenient location and relatively cheap beers and ciders (at least for central London). It's pretty small so you'll probably have to stand outside. Be prepared to get a lot of change because it also seems to be the most popular spot for homeless people. Overall okay place but there are definitely better spots in the area.

Can always get served generally not too busy at the bar. Beers are reasonably priced for London. Quite small inside, best to stand outside but it's quite nice surroundings with the hum of charing cross road and the bright lights of the theatre across the road.

Nice and inexpensive beer and cider. Loads of space outside. Convenient location. What else would you need? The perfect spot to go with the lads after leaving the office. Specially during spring and summer.

One of my favourite 'after work' spots in central. They sell Mortimers too which is always good in my book! It's right on the corner of Cambridge Circus, so great for people watching especially in Summer.

Tip: If you want to get a seat / table early evening during the week, get there early. It's not huge and does get pretty busy!
