Time Out says
Smack bang in the middle of theatreland, this Charing Cross Road pub dates back to the late nineteenth-century. Expect decent beers and some good people watching from its vantage on the edge of Soho.

Lovely pub in the heart of the Covent Garden/ Soho area. A
great selection of beers and friendly staff. A great spot for a quick drink if you’re
in the area and can’t face trying to get a seat at an uber ‘trendy’ bar.
This is a decent place to go to get decent priced drinks before you head off to a bar or club. Plenty of space inside and out (good for summer days). Two single mixers and two shots comes to £15, so its a great place to start. In an ideal location too.
Nice and inexpensive beer and cider. Loads of space outside. Convenient location. What else would you need? The perfect spot to go with the lads after leaving the office. Specially during spring and summer.
