This is a great pub! It's very spacious on the inside and has a dining area upstairs should you want to focus exclusively on food. The main appeal is their outside area, which overlooks the Thames and even has some seats directly facing the river, making for a lovely place to down a cold one and sit with friends and/or your beloved. Their crisps are not very good but the beers are all Sam Smith's (a brewery in Yorkshire) and they even have some organic ones and a pear cider, which is delicious. It's in Wapping, which is a lovely little area for an early evening stroll that could perfectly be closed with a nice dinner here. Highly recommend.

Captain Kidd is a fantastic riverside pub. With a gorgeous riverside view, history and central Wapping location. Surrounded by cobbled streets and visited by a mix of city workers, hipsters and locals. Very friendly atmosphere.
