Awesome pub - friendly staff, yummy food and a huge garden at the back - the best in Dulwich. We love the place!

I have visited this pub 3 times in t he last 2 months and every time the staff are amazing and helpful. The food that we had was tasty and very well presented . My favourite is the Spanish red they serve by the glass.... fabulous

Fun, funky, fresh- great food, great service and A BEER garden!! what more could you want!

The Cherry Tree has gone through a few changes of ownership, and name, but is now a welcome alternative to walking to Lordship Lane. They have a choice of real ale, good food - the Sunday roasts for 2/3 would feed 4 with a starter or dessert each.
Friendly staff, and we've found out about some real ales we didn't know about.

Really love visiting this pub with my parents when they come to visit. Always welcoming and friendly staff who remember our names and always give excellent service

Great selection of beers, friendly staff and fantastic back garden. Perfect for pre and post match at Dulwich Hamlet FC!

I would strongly recommend this pub and restaurant in East Dulwich, so what I’ve heard it only reopened under new management in recent months and what they have done with the place is pretty impressive. There is instantly a cosy feel and ambience as soon as you enter the place. Obviously visiting during the Christmas period there was a tree and decorations to get you in the spirit of things. There is enough staff to easily get someone’s attention and place your order easily without waiting for ages and although they are busy did not appear to rush you. There is a great family feel to the place and this is certainly appealing to all ages, in one corner you’ll see a family gathering, couples and friends catching up and young kids amusing themselves with colouring activities on other tables. An open fire also provides a homely feel and the food and drinks selection I must say is mouth wateringly good. Mulled wine, cider and even hot spiced apple with an extra dash if you wanted. The turkey with trimmings was so well presented and delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was just what you’d expect it to be like, gooey guilty pleasure.

I noticed that they also run pub quiz nights and they have tv screens showing the main sporting events. I would be keen to visit this place again, it would be interesting to see what it would be like in the evening or in summer outside in their pub garden.

Only thing I would say is that the mulled cider took a while to brew before we could order it, but saying that it is a very minor point and to be honest we did arrive early for 12pm just as it opened. Also there weren’t many crackers that came with the cheese platter at the end but we just requested some more and they were very much obliging with no fuss. Definitely give this place a visit if you happen to be in the East Dulwich area, I would be surprised if you come away disappointed.
