This pub is only 5 minutes walk from The London Stadium except when events are on and designated pathways enforced by security don't allow you to turn into side roads.  This means extra walking time via Stratford station, shopping centre and up a level increasing your walk by 10 minutes.  The Cow is a very pleasaant-looking pub, comfortably furnished on the lower level, with 2 floors above mainly for diners. We had requested a table on the mezzanine level, near a sports screen, which had been allocated to us.  Service was fairly slow, it was 10 minutes before our waitress approached our table asking what drinks we would like and then I had to chase for them.  Our food varied in quality - the fish and chips was deemed "lovely" whereas the roast dinners were somewhat unremarkable and didn't taste freshly cooked despite the high prices (£18.50 for the lamb and beef roasts)..  I even found a slice of beef under my chicken breast!!  The puddings weren't well described though quite tasty- a label of gluten-free/vegan would be helpful - my partner had to send back the gooseberry and elderflower fool as he is a coeliac -  which was replaced without fuss  by a gluten-free alternative.  I have no idea if the brownie was gluten-free or vegan. A nice place, a friendly atmosphere and I would happily return - though just for drinks.

A well fit out bar and gastro pub located in Stratford however outside of the Westfield shopping mall. A great selection of beers however lacking in quality wine- although the wine prices you would expect quality. I first came to The Cow on a Friday evening- it was a hive of activity and very busy however there is outdoor space so over-flow can migrate outside. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed an after work drink or two at the bar. My suggestion is to either stay on the spirits and mixer or try their selection of beer as wine is a downfall for them. Next time I shall try their food as they have a selection of gourment pub food available. Worth a pop-in drink if you are in the area.

I came here for a work function recently and thought it was a great venue. On the ground floor, you could tell it was a really popular place for people to meet up for drink after work.

We had the whole top floor booked up for the work party and the food was really nice, kind of traditional pub fare but presented in a modern way.

Even though it's in the Westfield complex, it's right at the end of the restaurant boulevard, next to the Olympic Park, so you don't feel like you're right in the middle of a shopping mall.

I have been here a few times, the food is good, the staff are on point and friendly and the atmosphere is great!

Yum yum! Huge portions of delicious home cooking style food. Definitely go for the sharing roast if you are visiting on a Sunday... loads of scrumptious meat and veg all served up in a massive roasting tin! A bit on the pricey side but being a stones throw from the Olympic Park it was to be expected. Great for special occasions and family meals.
