Wonderful family pub. Good selection of drinks and food at the weekends. Children and dogs more than welcome. A real focus of the community like pubs used to be. Lucky to have it round the corner.

At a time when true 'locals' are closing everywhere and the only way to survive is to become 'Gastro' or brought up by a big chain, this little family run gem hangs on in there. Great beer, friendly welcome, jukebox, pool table, car park and big patio for those sunny days. During the Rugby World Cup it's really come into its own, with families cheering together whilst tucking into a great Sunday Roast.

Fabulous hidden gem of a local! The best welcome, home from home, family run, good prices, Sunday roasts ... What's not to like?

Absolutely perfect in every way! Great selection of lagers and single malts with the best Guinness in London! (I hear it’s from their clean lines and large turn-over which keeps the brew fresh). Food is tasty and the beer garden (always decorated with beautiful baskets of flowers) has 2 large outdoor TVs for when the sports are on. The atmosphere is always warm, friendly and welcoming and the pub even has a jukebox, pool table and free wifi!..............No, I’m not on commission, I just love this god damn place!

A real, friendly local pub, with an excellent regular quiz-night (Thursday) and a good patio for summer days and evenings.

Fantastic pub with brilliant atmosphere! Delicious food and a fabulous range of drinks, not the bog standard drinks you find in many London pubs! Great for Sunday roast lunches and really accommodating for families and children! A real gem in the heart of Muswell Hill! Not to be missed!

This is a splendid pub - the last really proper pub in Muswell Hill. One of the area's hidden treasures. It's been my local for more years than I care to remember. The family who've run it for the past twelve years are splendid people who really know their trade. The beer is always good - many people say they sell the best pint of Guinness outside Dublin. The patio is a sun trap, winter or summer. The idiosyncratic décor reflects the landlord's personality to a T. And every Thursday they have one of the toughest quizzes for many a mile.

This pub is just a treasure trove of interesting things that the owner has lovingly purchased over the years, there really isn't anywhere else like it! This coupled with great service and a really friendly atmosphere always makes for a great relaxed night out with friends, my favourite hang out in MW.

The BEST pub in North London- friendly, great wine and a great atmosphere. Exactly what a pub should be! The Meagher family provide the best welcome, a rare find in London. A fantastic 'local', that I travel from Dublin to visit 😀

A great pub with a good local community feel, very friendly and welcoming with nice staff. Feel lucky to have this gem on our door step. If you like pub quizzes, then there's a great atmosphere every Thursday, be warned can be a bit addictive.

A proper local! Friendly staff, good prices and an atmosphere that can't be beaten. Hidden gem in Muswell Hill.

Good old fashioned pub, staff are friendly and amazing, great outdoor area, and lots of quirky stuff to look at inside.

My favourite local, for a London pub you truly like a local, remember your name and your tipple. Adore Meg and the team.

Great atmosphere, large indoor & outdoor areas, big screen tv's for watching football and the staff are friendly and helpful. Oh... and it has its own private customer parking lot!!! 5 stars are not enough. Definately coming back and tell my friends about this awesome English pub.

A delightfully eccentric local. There's something of a dearth of pubs in Muswell Hill but if you're looking for somewhere cosy and friendly this is it. Try the extensive whisky selection and puruse the wall of model ships.

Just a great "proper" pub with ambiance, a warm welcome and atmosphere. Not your stereotypical pub out of a box that you see so often. Hidden gem well worth a visit.

A lovely, friendly local pub. After walking the dog in the nearby woods or stopping in for a Sunday lunch it's the perfect place to relax. The owners really put themselves out when hosting a birthday party for us.

I love this pub! Friendly, traditional pub and great outside patio. Very reasonable prices compared to many places locally. Only about 10 mins walk from Alexandra Palace so great place to meet before events.

Excellent place. Friendly helpfull staff, great pint of London Pride, sport on the screen and a bag of pork scratchings. It really doesn't get any better than that! Well run and managed to ensure everyone has a pleasant time.
It also has quiet and outside areas so can just sit relax and read the vast selection of free newspapers in the sunshine.
Great mix of friendly, local people, children & pets welcome. I recommend.

Lovely friendly local pub. Great food, great vibe and really dog friendly. Our favourite pub in Muswell. So reasonably priced, has character and our little dog gets fussed over. Highly recommend!

Great traditional pub, unique and a little quirky! Lots to look at with a great friendly atmosphere and everyone welcomes everyone.great range of beers however I only drink the excellent guinness

The best traditional pub in North London, with an amazing staff and a very good choice of beers. Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere

A true gem, one of the few real pubs left in London that should be supported and cherished.

It's a brilliant pub. Staff are very friendly and exchange of banter is great.the other patrons are very friendly and welcoming, you come in as a stranger and leave as a friend. Three interior televisions and two exterior on a lovely patio area. Child and dog friendly. Also the food at weekends is superb! A pub I truely feel at home in

This pub is tucked away in a residential side road. It is warm and welcoming with lovely staff and great surroundings. There is a large terrace too, for those sunny days (or smokers!). Thoroughly recommended.

Very friendly, traditional, family run pub, not a chain. Great outside patio. Always welcoming.
