Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.

The luxury Lanesborough hotel is as full of gems as it is history. Its flagship restaurant Celeste, for instance, is a stunning Michelin-starred joint with glittering chandeliers and gold French regency styled decor. The Library Bar doesn't skimp on glamour either. The dark wood, deep shades and leather wing-back armchairs ooze grandeur.

Fans of Cognac will feel particularly at home here, as The Library Bar won an award for its selection of the brandy and has bottles dating back to 1770. Elsewhere cocktails abound.

The Library Bar says
A destination in itself, The Library Bar attracts guests in residence at the iconic Lanesborough hotel and locals alike, retaining an intimate, club-like atmosphere with a welcoming ambience and live music. Awarded the 'Cognac Drinks List of the Year' by Imbibe Magazine, the bar offers some of the oldest, rarest Cognacs in London. A unique experience amongst London's vibrant bar scene, the bar is home to Cognacs from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, fine Champagnes and spectacular cocktails by a team of award-winning bartenders. The pace by day is leisurely; by night the tempo builds as music entertainment unfolds. The cocktail list is created and adapted with true passion and often with a unique twist...
