This Acton wine bar might be a little too tucked away for some but it looks like it could be one worth hunting out. Most of the intrigue comes from a wine selection that goes big on interesting drops from small producers - with a good number available by the glass for good measure.

There's bar food to soak up the booze, too. Expect small plates such as potted shrimps from Upton Smokery served with toasted sourdough, plates of fennel salami, posh cheese toasties and free-range duck rillettes with cornichons and more of that sourdough toast.

Don't be surprised to hear albums played in their entirety (if you're averse to late '70s and early '80s new wave then you might want to check what's lined up before you head down). Keep an eye out, too, for supper clubs and special events.

Vindinista! says
A tiny local bar in Acton with a big attitude when it comes to great wines. We offer wines from off the beaten path and classics from small producers. The only rule is they all have to be brilliant and we have to love drinking them. We're open from 5pm 'til late, Tuesday to Saturday. @Vindinista

A lovely spot in Acton! I'm 21 but the atmosphere is very welcoming to all - I often go down for a treat with my mother, or with a few of my girlfriends. The decor is very modern but subtle and the staff are very friendly and remember your face. The cheese board is delicious, and although I don't know much about wine the bar staff are very helpful and have helped me to find a few of my favourite glasses - particularly the red 'Velvet' !

Amazing! This place is a real gem, the selection of wine is perfection, I have tried almost every one and have not found a single one that I did not like. The side room is lovely and intimate, perfect if you're out with your friends, and the main bar is vibrant. The bar staff are both incredibly lovely and helpful, and the woman who works there is very friendly.

Would definitely recommend

I don't frequent many a wine bar, but a friend invited me to post-work drinks and I found myself thinking "why don't I go to wine bars every night?" Obviously there's the liver/ wallet damage, but I would also argue there are very few wine bars that are this inviting.

It's small but the bar's size works in its favour. The food - selections of meats and cheeses - were very classily presented and tasted great. And while I know very little about wine, they had me wanting lots more thanks to an amazing barman for whom the job title doesn't do justice. He's like a Jedi of wine. He was able to point a heathen such as myself in the direction of wine flavours I could appreciate.

I don't have any excuses to go back to Acton but I'm working on it. Amazing night.

Both this bar and Park + Bridge wine shop opposite are great additions to Acton. Nothing else like it in the area - wonderful wines, brilliant customer service & the occasional food takeover. Great things clearly do come in small pakcages! Keep it up guys - FABULOUS!

Small but perfectly formed, Vindinista! is a delight. Welcoming, warm and aesthetically pleasing it has a surprisingly delicious, moorish wine selection. The food too is memorably good, the cheese selection in particular – and the bread is amazing. The lovely Holly knows her wines and makes the experience altogether the most pleasurable place for an evening out in West London.

Friendly, warm and chatty, Vindinista has an ambience that's not to be missed. Partner that welcoming feel with top-notch, palatte-tingling wine and food, and it's a stellar addition to the neighbourhood

Great organic wines from all over the world!!! Very knowledgeable and personalised service. Would go there again with mates or even on my own for a quiet glass and nice conversation with the owner

"We want the finest wines available to humanity. We want them here and we want them now." So reads the leftmost wall of this little treasure. And on that front, Vindinista's trim precise little menu provides. The self-proclaimed speciality is 'wines off the beaten track' -- you may not have heard of them, but rest assured, they are very fine. (My personal poison: the Pittnauer Velvet, in all its preeminent quaffability.)

Amidst an all round delightful menu of edibles to go with your potables, the olives are to die for. The tiny space is cram-full of atmosphere come evening. Great staff give the place a cosy close and local feeling. Pilgrims, however, from beyond the neighourhood are welcomed all the same. Worth the travel? Most certainly

In all honesty, Vindinista is one of the better things to have happened to Acton in a long time.

A cosy, hidden bauble of a bar, with wines and fizz that staff can actually tell you about as the knowledgeable owners sell them too. Nice cheese and meat platters. Pop your head in and tuck into a corner, have a glass or two and do some people-spotting - I hear there've been celeb sightings...

Best bar ever? Pretty much. And I've been to a few in my time. Superb, friendly and knowledgeable staff, amazing wines and top notch grub. A place you can drop into or spend a whole evening. Sums up Acton too - not pretentious, easygoing and a bit quirky.

This tiny wine bar - a postage stamp of a place - is worth coming to Acton for alone. The staff are just brilliant. I've been twice now and each time they've made me feel like I belong there both times. I might know nothing about wine but I've LOVED every single wine they've suggested. Food is great too. And I only popped in because it was raining. Can't fault this place at all. Miss it at your peril.

The epitome of what a great little neighbourhood wine bar should be. Interesting, different, quirky - but always great quality wines and food. Great vibe, great crowd. THE hidden gem in this part of town.
