[title]Want to try before you fly? Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines are bringing a taste of the US to London this summer. They’re opening a pop-up pub with 230 American craft beers behind the bar – one from each of the 230 US destinations the airlines fly to – so you can drink like a local before booking your next trip. We’ll raise a glass to that.
A traditional English pub inspired by the American craft beer scene, The Joint Venture will be open from Fri Aug 10 to Sun Aug 19, and with 230 US destinations (and beers) to choose from, every night will offer a chance to explore something new. Pop down on August 13 or 15 to join in The Joint Venture pub quiz, where the winners* will bag free flights to the US. Londoners will also have the opportunity to get to know a few of the biggest places on the American map with themed evenings. Expect fresh fish and fiesty rock music on Seattle Night and balmy Florida vibes to celebrate the historical, vibrant city of Miami, while pastrami, hip hop and NYC craft beers are on the menu for New York Night. Statue of Liberty hats entirely optional.
