This grand King's Road spot remains a popular one - and not just with the locals lucky enough to live nearby. The back room bar is just for members but mere mortals are welcome to check out any of the other areas across this four-floor venue - encompassing a cocktail bar, a brasserie, a Champagne penthouse, a restaurant and a club room. Plenty of choice, then.
That choice extends to the food on offer, too. Smoothies, breakfasts and brunches lead into lunches and dinners of a modern-European slant - think pan-fried scallops with broad beans and chorizo, gnocchi with sun-blushed tomatoes, chargrilled asparagus and artichoke, or braised rump of lamb with a chive mash and an artichoke and olive jus. An afternoon tea with the option of Champagne looks good, too.
Cocktails play an important part in the evening revelries, with high-end spirits going into grape expectations (Grey Goose with vin santo and grapes), a some like it hot martini (Mount Gay Eclipse with fresh passionfruit and chilli) and a Chelsea passion (Tanqueray, raspberries and Champagne). The wine list runs to almost 100 labels, with a humbler dozen by the glass.

Had a great burger, very good service and nice seating. Reasonable wine at decent prices by the glass. Would like to return for cocktails at a weekend.
Totally disagree with other reviews. I always find the service impeccable and the food portions are more than decent. If you're looking for a good drink the wine and cocktails are great too.
We came here for a breakfast after a big night...will never do it again. The English breakfast was reminiscent of England on rations - one of everything, overdone and you could tell the produce had been in the fridge for a while. As breakfast fiends, my friends and I have eaten a lot of eggs, bacon, tomato and toast, its usually hard to get wrong, but the food is beautiful in name only. The staff weren't very responsive when we suggested that all of our meals were sub-par...maybe the Kings Road reputation goes further from Sloane Square than we thought. The price makes this the most miserable part. Save you money and stay off the Kings Rd!
One of the worst drinking experiences I've had in London. Zero atmosphere. The staff are rude in general trained to collect your glasses before your drinks are finished. Table service is provided in order to get you to pay extortionate service charges. The server bought us the wrong drinks and then came and argued with me when I didn't want to pay the charge. Full of knobs...
