Big Chill Bar
The bar of the festival has an ideal site in the buzzing courtyard of Dray Walk, a place for the many festie regulars to run amok in…in a chilled fashion. Designed as an ‘oasis of calm and tranquility’ there’s a comfort food menu, a mean cocktail list and an eclectic musical mix every night.

Just off the Brick lane, behind the Market, Big chill bar is offering an alternative to the usual happy hour in the city of London in the local pub or trendy cocktail bars.

The inside is pretty big and the bar also offers a terrace, pretty packed whenever the sun is out. Inside you can sink in one of their big leather sofa; the kind of sofa you would find in a men flatshare, old, passed but can’t be more comfortable!

To summarise, this is a great place to chill after a day of work or during the weekend with some friends.

Good vibes at Big Chill Bar. Really great location as it's tucked away off Brick Lane but easy to get to from Liverpool Street. I went there on a Sunday afternoon and it was extremely busy with all tables, bar leaners and outdoor areas occupied. With a range of craft beers, spirits and cocktails- there is something for everyone. Their GnT range is amazing with floral, spicy and sweet flavours. I thoroughly enjoyed my rosemary and grapefruit GnT with Beefeater Gin. Worth a pop in if you're in the area but they do have a in house DJ which may detract a few...

I haven’t stepped in here since I was 22, so naturally I was expecting it to smell of cigarettes and stale beer as we popped in on a Saturday afternoon… In fact I was pleasantly surprised.

The place venue is roomy with large comfy seating areas, lots of choice behind the bar and not crazily priced considering the area, don’t laugh but it was essentially very chilled for a Saturday afternoon pint, don’t know why I expected any different really!
