A boozer with a sense of humour; it's named after Pratts, the now defunct, art deco department store that the pub is situated in, and Cynthia Payne, Streatham's notorious 'special party' thrower who allegedly ran a brothel in her home durign the late-’70s.

This kitsch Streatham pub is a good spot for a casual drink in the area. The décor is cute and staff are friendly. They have sky sports so it’s a fun place to head with friends to watch the football. I haven’t tried the food but will sample it in the near future. 


A distinctly average pub, but one with at least a bit of character. It is an odd mixture of a pub/boozer and a wannabe shoreditch cocktail bar. The food is okay, and the atmosphere feels manufactured somehow. A one word review: “okay”.


A relaxed pub with really good food, a nice selection of beers, and almost always space to find a table.

Tastemaker

Pratts and Payne is one of my favourite quiz destinations. Wed night sees a really fun and challenging quiz. P&P is a quite a large, relaxed and friendly venue. It has a decent food menu with some standards and some quirky options. The service can be a little haphazard but food is always good quality. 


If you like pub quizzes I can't recommend this place highly enough - even though i don't think we have ever won!


Great pub and selection of drinks. The atmosphere was excellent, I couldn't fault the place!


Super cool pub with a selection of drinks. Had a blast in here with friends on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. They had a Dj playing some great tunes and all the staff were really friendly too. Definitely worth checking out.


Great atmosphere, good food and always something going on. This place is a real gem for Streatham, and is definitely worth checking out if you're tired of the bars in Balham.
