Princess Victoria
Close to Holland Park, the family-run Princess Victoria is a pub that was first licenced as a drinking establishment in 1830. Today it has a welcoming bar with an upstairs dining room where a menu offers chargrilled burgers, beer-battered fish and chips, and, perhaps with a nod to its many neighbours from down under, 'Slow Aussie-roasted lamb shank'.

A group of us went for an early Sunday dinner here. Service was very good, it was a very relaxed atmosphere and we were able to have a drink and chat before ordering our food. Most of us had roasts - the pork belly or beef. Whilst they didn't have a veggie roast on the menu, they accommodated a friend's dietary requirements as well. I've been here on a Saturday night for dinner as well, each time the food has been great and the staff very helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit here!
