My first visit to Harrow on the Hill, what a delightful little suburb of London. If you haven't been get yourself there for a Sunday stroll.

The Castle is a nice little country style pub in the Fullers pub chain. Road side parking is available too.

It was a Sunday so I opted for the Sunday roast, I picked roast beef and I liked that the menu showed the origin of the farm from where the beef came from. Priced at £16.95 it's not the cheapest but I certainly enjoyed it.

The beef came with red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding, 3 roast potatoes and roasted carrots & parsnips. All home made and very nice, my beef wasn't perfect and my roasts s bit undercooked so overall it's a 7.2 rating for me.

I resisted the pudding but I did have a delicious latte.

I'd certainly visit again as the overall menu also looked delicious.

Great pub with a village feel up on Harrow on the Hill. In the winter snug and cosy inside, in the summer there's a large and relaxed beer garden.
