Perfect for those Saturday nights when you kind of want to go out but also kind of dont - we all have them!! But I promise a night here isn't for the old and/or boring, it gets pretty lively for a bar/pub so you can enjoy a drink and a dance but also doesn't stay open all hours so you're not doomed to get home at silly o'clock having consumed one (or two) too many drinks then waste the whole next day in a hungover slumber WIN WIN!

Actually not sure what other reviewer ate - girlfriend and I went for the Swingers Roast (!) - it was 4 types of roast meat, yorkshires and all the bits you expect. Food was good, service was great - really bubbly.

Seemed like it might have been a good place for brunch as there were lots of young (younger than me anyway) people sorting out hangovers.

I enjoyed it!

Probably one of the worst Sunday roasts I've had, I went for beef , swimming in watery gravy, pre-frozen veg, which was pathetic and at £16.50 not cheap

Great pub just across the road from Clapham North tube station.

Ideal to watch sports and now that the sun is threatening to come out is a great stop to have a drink in the terrace.

They also have a good sunday roast dinner.

Finally it's a dog friendly pub, what more do you need?.

In general this is a good pub, it is open pretty late at the weekend so if anyone ever suggests that Infernos is your only option, ignore them and also probably stop being friends with them. The staff are always really friendly and there is normally sports on during the day if you're in to that. One thing that we noticed recently was a change to the food which used to be brilliant, we ate here just before Christmas and it was distinctly average. The menu has changed and is also now served in strange and annoyingly small white dishes (yeah, first world problems I know) but was not enjoyable like it used to be.

It is a good place to watch sports (normally football). Quite representative of Clapham, the atmosphere is very nice but food and drinks are a bit overpriced.

A nice local pub with a cosy decor, perfect on a Sunday afternoon. We started off at the seating area outside watching the Claphamites come and go, before retreating indoors for our Sunday lunch. However, the food is what dragged the star rating down as it was disappointingly lacklustre. I had the veggie option and although the mushroom Wellington was scrummy, the rest let it down. Bland vegetables, dry potatoes and yorkshires burnt to a crisp! And the whole dish seemed to be swimming in what I believe was the water (far too thin/flavourless to be gravy) used to boil the veg?! I literally had to pour that into a separate plate! Needless to say we skipped dessert. However, I must say that the service was great and the place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Oh and not forgetting the Sunday night pub quiz which is awesome!

This used to be a bar that cared but has gone downhill in my opinion.  The food was not great (starter was dry and the main was not much better) and the service even worse.  The waitress we had did not care and was more interested in talking to her friends than finding out what we wanted.  Then when I asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill this had to be done by a manager who did not care why.

I would never go there again.
