I visited the Neal Street salon today - so fun! Great vibe in there, loved the interior and most of all, my treatment was great. I had threading and tinting, I don't remember the therapists name unfortunately but the result is the best I've had in a long time. Thanks Browhaus!
I've been to Browhaus a few times and each time have come out happy with my eyebrows, the treatment itself is not why give this salon a low rating.
Each time I've been, I've been asked about buying a package of treatments, which before I've declined and then been allowed to pay and leave with no hassle. The most recent time I went, I had my treatment and was again approached about a package. This time I was harassed by the staff. I declined about four times saying I couldn't afford to put a large payment down, especially because I don't live in the area. The receptionist and therapist (who before this had been very friendly) refused to let me decline without a fight. At first I was told the package they were offering would be valid for two years, then they offered me a different package of less treatments that again I declined and then they said that actually they could extend it to over two years if I needed them to. It seemed like the information they were giving me was just being plucked out of thin air and by the time I was allowed to pay for my treatment I'd been at reception for about 5 minutes trying to tell them I wasn't interested. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a salon before and it ruined what has before then, been a good experience. I don't mind them mentioning that I could buy a package and it would save me money, but I honestly felt by the fourth time they'd mentioned it and I had expressed that I wasn't able to afford it that it was unnecessary and intimidating. I was going to leave the therapist a tip, but decided not to after this.
After paying, I got a frosty reception and the staff carried on chatting and proceeded to ignore me, with the receptionist handing me my reciept without even looking at me. I won't be returning after this poor customer service. A shame as my eyebrows have been very nicely done.
Customer Service completely unreliable.
Treatments itself are fine but
- pushy sales culture, with constant pressure to buy packages
- shut down over early 2015 without communicating at all to customers, including those just sold packages & mid treatment!
- number constantly rings without any answer or even answerphone
Too bad the customer service is so poor as the treatments themselves are ok
Just don't. I am so disappointed with this company's culture. The worst I have ever experienced. I cannot fault the treament I received (I had a lash tint and threading) but the sales culture and customer service is really appalling. Dishonest and sly.
My brows look fabulous! My therapist was warm, chatty, told me what shape and colour would suit my face best and is helping to repair the damage years of over plucking has caused.
I think £20 for threading and tinting is great value and I've already booked my next appointment.
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because I felt they were pushing their package deals a bit too hard and the receptionist didn't offer me an appointment card.
Walked in off the street with no appointment. Friendly reception staff greeting and was able to get seen straight away. BIG MISTAKE! Therapist was cold and rude. No communication. Asked for eyebrow threading... Got butchered, very poor quality work - considering she actually plucked most of my eye brows anyway! Do not recommend. Definitely try somewhere else first!
