Literary fiends rejoice: a boozy ‘book bar’ is arriving at Waterstones Tottenham Court Road from May 16 to celebrate this year’s Bailey’s Women’s Prize for Fiction shortlist. Over five days there will be a host of bar events at just £6 a pop including live DJ sets, sneak-peek book readings and talks from next-level novelists including 2015 Prize winner Ali Smith. So whether you’re a budding writer yearning for tips or a novel junkie desperate for that next page-turner, this is a pop-up worth paying for. Oh – and did we mention that also gets you a Bailey’s cocktail or coffee too? See, totally worth it.
