A Hackney museum is crowdfunding to buy a 1,000-year-old mummy

Hackney needs a mummy (of the wrapped variety), or so The Viktor Wynd Museum says. It's trying to raise £6,666 to buy a 1,000-year-old mummified Peruvian head for its collection. If you're willing to part with some cash, the rewards include a visit to the museum with tea and cake, a two-headed teddy bear and, er, some chocolate anuses.
