A man was arrested for sunbathing in his trunks on Brick Lane

London's great in the sunshine, but you know what it's lacking? A good spot for you to work on your tan. That's presumably the dilemma that this man faced when he decided to strip down to his teeny tiny trunks and plonk himself down in a deckchair in the middle of Brick Lane. The man was happily topping up his tan until police turned up to cut his sunbathing session short, informing him they had received complaints from the public. 

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said that a man named Gerald Muir was later charged with being drunk and disorderly in Brick Lane. Better stick to your back garden next time, Gerald.
