To freeze or not to freeze? That's the question for many women who might be considering 'social egg freezing' as a way to pursue motherhood later in life. But if you haven't got a clue what it's all about, an educational pop-up will be arriving at Old Street station later this month.

Designed to look like a beauty shop, the 'Timeless' installation is a creative collaboration between the Wellcome Trust, LSE researchers and creative consultancy The Liminal Space, and hopes to highlight the social and medical issues around the procedure. Visitors can expect to see a range of fictitious beauty products with provocative names such 'Eau so Pressured' and '3-Step solution for egg freezing' (neither which can be bought, if you're wondering). And if that doesn't get you thinking, the space will also host a series of free talks from experts in gender politics and reproductive medicine.

The Timeless pop-up shop will be open February 29–March 5 at Old Street station, 8am–8pm.
