Bees – what a bunch of little legends. Our eco-system wouldn’t be much without them, and that’s why one group is on a mission to highlight how important they are with a citizen science project this summer. London-based social enterprise The Honey Club has just launched an interactive Bee Trail around the King’s Cross area that’ll school us on why the global decline of bees is a pretty big problem. The project comes with an app that will reveal useful facts as you buzz around each of the seven stops on the 45-minute walk – and if you ace activities in the app, you’ll unlock vouchers to top local restaurants including Dishoom, The Grain Store and the Greek Larder. Trust bee learning to be so sweet.

To get involved, the app is now available on iOS or Android until September 21, but The Honey Club will be running a series of educational bee-themed events until the end of the year.

Visit the Bee Trail website to find out more about the app.
