This Friday and Saturday, the kings of the cool stuff are piling gallons of ice cream into a VW van and parking up at Boxpark to celebrate the latest Ben and Jerry’s flavour, ’S’Wich Up’ - a combination of vanilla ice cream with cookie swirls, cookie sandwiches and cookie dough chunks mixed in. WOAH.
As well as being able to try the new variety, visitors will be able to create their own ‘wich by picking from four classic flavours and sandwiching a scoop between cookies made by Luminary Bakery, an east London enterprise working with women at a social or economic disadvantage. Once sprinkles have been heaped on top, ice-cream lovers will be given the chance to win their creation for free by spinning a giant wheel. Lucky punters can lick away without paying while the rest will have to part with £4 before they get stuck in. Head to Boxpark, Shoreditch on Thu Jul 14, Fri Jul 15 and Sat Jul 16, noon-7pm to get involved.
