Did you spot it? The words 'Boy Better Know' just shone bright across south east London as Skepta's grime collective and label announced their takeover of The O2 on August 27 with a projection of the BBK logo across the venue. JME spread the news via a live stream on Periscope.

Details of the plans are tantalisingly slim - but what we do know is that BBK will takeover the entire O2 complex for one whole glorious day. And people can register for tickets via the Boy Better Know website.

BBK formed back in 2005 but arguably 2016 was their most successful year yet, Skepta won the Mercury music prize for his album 'Konnichiwa', Drake was signed to the label and they reigned supreme on a Wireless headline slot. With a potential documentary in the works and this huge takeover, could 2017 prove to be another trailblazing year?

JME has just been announced as a headliner for Afropunk.
