Careful now: Tedfest brings a little bit of Craggy Island to London

Ben Williams

What the feck? A bunch of eegits dressed as priests celebrating all things 'Father Ted'? That's mad, Ted…

Tedfest – which started on the Aran Island of Inis Mór (aka Craggy Island) back in 2007 – returns to London for a second year this month. The loony one-day 'festival' runs midday to midnight at the London Irish Centre on Saturday July 11, with fans competing in Ted's Got Talent, games of Human Buckaroo (the sport of kings) and, of course, the Lovely Girls Contest.

Confused? Here's an idea of what to expect (and which 'Father Ted' episodes they're referencing).

So, if you've got some money resting in your account, buy a ticket, don your blue jumper, and head down to Tedfest London. Ah, go on.
