Calling all creative types! Ever wondered how to use your brilliant talents to do good but aren't sure where to start? We've found just the thing. Cause2Create is a new platform launched by creative director Mark Bennett to bring together heads from the third sector, creative and media industries to help support important causes like the global refugee crisis.
To kick things off, the collective is coming to Hackney Wick on November 11 and 12 with a weekend of talks, workshops, exhibitions, live music and DJs. There will also be 'Levantine supper club' – a collaboration with the Refugee Council, E5 Bakehouse and The Bread Companion where food will be prepared and served by refugees.
Amazingly, most of the events are free to attend but if you've got cash to spare, Cause2Create is currently crowdfunding to become a full-fledged non-profit company, which you can learn about here.
