We love a good tube map, but sometimes it's nice to come up for air from the sweaty Underground and take a look at our whole city in all its glory. While Google Maps is practical, it ain't that pretty to look at – but this illustrated map of London definitely is. The cartographic creation is the work of artist Cally Lathey, who spent five months painstakingly hand-drawing the map, which features London landmarks, green spaces, museums, cultural references and famous pubs.
There's a high concentration of facial hair and bikes in Shoreditch, naturally.
While in Camden, there are references to Madness, Amy Winehouse and the 1987 cult classic 'Withnail & I', which was set in the area.
Unsurprisingly, the Canary Wharf area is all pie charts, money, skyscrapers and, er, fish – thanks to the nearby Billingsgate fish market.
