City envy: we want a Larry David café like Melbourne

When it comes to 'Seinfeld'-themed cafés, it seems Melburnians can't get enough of them. Hot on the heels of an eatery dedicated to George Costanza comes the opening this week of a café honouring the man George's character was based on: 'Seinfeld' co-creator Larry David. The 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' writer-star is the inspiration behind Larry David's, a New York-style spot specialising in coffee, bagels and (presumably) socially inappropriate conversation. According to owner Callum Linsell, the café will give customers 'double the amount of paper towels' with their food in honour of Larry's napkin demands in one episode of 'CYE'. We've also been told it will feature a giant mural of Mr David himself. Sounds pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Melbourne are so lucky. They also have a 'Seinfeld' bar and we want one.
