City envy: we want an ice cream museum like New York

Question: What's even better than ice cream? Answer: A whole museum dedicated to the stuff. And from this Friday, New York City will be blessed with exactly that. The Museum of Ice Cream, which will be based in the Meatpacking District for a month, sounds like something dreamed up by Willy Wonka. Visitors will get to experience an 'immersive chocolate room', eat edible balloons, ride an ice-cream-sandwich swing, wallow in a pool of rainbow sprinkles (non-edible, sadly) and much more. Oh yeah, and there'll be some ice cream. New Yorkers will be able to try some of the city's finest flavours (including a 'scoop of the week') as well as customised ice creams created by a 'food futurist'. They'll even be able to find their perfect flavour match with ice-cream Tinder. Hell, we'd swipe right for that.

We also want a floating sauna like Seattle and New York's birthday cake croissants
