Do you like to hip, hop, hippie to the hippie, the hip, hip a hop (and you don't stop)? Yeah, well it might be time Tupac your bags and get to New York. The city is so proud of the genre it helped create that it will soon be home to a museum dedicated entirely to showcasing and preserving its history. The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum's been a long time coming – it's been in the pipeline since James 'JT' Thompson first launched the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards in the '90s. The proposed location of the museum, slated to open later this year, is somewhere in Midtown Manhattan; and Thompson thinks it will attract 700,000 visitors a year. It'll have a concert lounge, restaurant, shop and bar (serving gin and juice, surely). Here's hoping it's a rapper's delight.

We also want a 'Seinfeld' bar like Melbourne
