Covent Garden tube station has fully re-opened

Isabelle Aron

As anyone who's ever tackled the 193 steps at Covent Garden tube station will tell you, taking the lift is pretty much non-negotiable if you want to arrive above ground without being a wheezing, sweaty a mess.
