Nature loving Instagramer Paul Conner has been photographing the ‘Big Smoke’ for yonks. Originally from Surrey, Paul mainly shoots landscapes with what his friends call his ‘magic fisheye lens,’ but occasionally he likes to test his skills out by snapping London’s architecture, often ‘experimenting with different styles and new angles.’ His fab feed features everything from glitzy shots of Tower Bridge to the Palace of Westminster but it was his dope shots of deer, foggy woodland and dreamy sunrises in Bushy Park that made him Instafamous. Here are his five favourite photos of Bushy Park:

Sunrise in Bushy Park

'I took this picture at sunrise. When I got to my spot there were quite a few photographers waiting so I knew it was going to be a good one. As you can see, it didn't disappoint.'

Swan lake

'Out of the corner of my eye I saw something in the mist. I barely had time to set my camera up as this line of swans suddenly came into view. I fired off a couple of quick shots hoping I'd capture something decent. This was the result. It was dreamy.'

Deer silhouette

'You'll probably realise I like photographing deer. To get this shot I had to manoeuvre the deer myself directly into the shadow of the sun to get a nice silhouette. It all worked out perfectly and he didn't mind moving at all. He was actually quite friendly.'

Foggy trees

'It's mornings like this when it's worth getting out of bed at 5am to shoot a foggy woodland. It was so atmospheric. The colours in the trees were just stunning. My kind of morning and so worth all the effort if you ask me.'

Stag in Bushy Park

'I remember checking the weather forecast the night before and they were predicting a foggy start to the day. I was hoping for a bit of sun rising over the lake as well. When I arrived before sunrise the next morning, visibility was very poor so there was no chance of a sunrise. Plan B was to find some deer to photograph. One of the best things about Bushy Park is that the deer are so tame and because of this you can get quite close. I found this stag sitting in the grass with the mist and fog all around him, I thought it made for a great atmospheric shot!'
