Drink gin and learn something new at a lecture with Sunday Papers Live this week

Summer is nearly over, but it's not quite time to go into hibernation and get reacquainted with your box sets just yet. It looks like London is about to get one last bit of sunshine this week, and to help you make the most of it, we've teamed up with Bombay Sapphire and Sunday Papers Live to host the Waterside Lectures - two exclusive talks where you'll hear from a secret line-up of industry experts on all things style, design and art.

The talks will be at the riverside space at The Proud Archivist (September 13) and the West Reservoir Centre (September 15), and each night will see a line-up of four speakers giving 15-minute talks on arts and culture. And, because everything is better with booze, you'll also get three G&T cocktails to keep you well-hydrated throughout the evening. But there'll be no twiddling your thumbs between talks, as the folks from Bombay Sapphire will also be hosting mini-masterclasses in-between sessions so that you can learn how to make the ultimate G&T. And if that isn't an important life skill, we don't know what is.
