Now this is exciting. Next month, in a secret forest location just outside London, Dave Okumu’s art-rock crew The Invisible will be enlisting the help of a few fab guest vocalists to play Prince and Bowie tracks to bring the opening night of In The Woods festival to a shuddering climax. We can’t reveal who will be fronting the supergroup, but we can confirm that they’re all absolute corkers from the British alternative music circuit. It’s like the ultimate tribute band.

The exciting collaboration is happening to celebrate ITW’s tenth birthday. The two-day musical romp takes place on September 2 and 3 and also includes a set by guitar-toting northerner Benjamin Francis Leftwich on Friday night. The line-up for Saturday includes ace indie acts like Let’s Eat Grandma, Will Joseph Cook, Weaves, Sevdaliza and Francobollo. Sounds to us like a magical way to round out the festival summer.
