Five things you need to do this September according to LondOnTheInside

Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this month.

After a summer of drinking too much, we’re nearly ready to start being a bit healthier so we’re looking forward to checking out Essence Cuisine. The vegan plant-based restaurant is opening in Shoreditch and their heirloom tomato lasagna sounds like a real winner. Oh, and they also make cold-pressed cocktails, so you can still drink but without the guilt.

J Brand Sample Sale, Hackney Walk, September 7-10

We love a good sample sale, but we’re especially excited about this one. J Brand is hosting its first ever UK sample sale with up to 80 percent off. We’ll be rummaging through those rails to find our perfect pair of jeans, and nothing will stop us, so hands off!

Erith Lighthouse Chef’s Dinners, Erith, September 8-23

We’re pretty pumped to hear that London had a new lighthouse and even more so when we heard that you can eat there as well. Unfortunately, the first set of chef’s dinners sold out in a flash so we’re jumping right on board now they’ve announced their September line-up with the likes of Adam Rawson, Roseltiz London and Barmand on the bill.
Summer didn’t seem to stick around for long, but we’ll be enjoying the last of those rays aboard the Campari Boat. Anchoring at King’s Cross, we’ll be knocking back a few cocktails and might even join in a masterclass or two.
We love dumplings so much we could eat ‘em all day long, so we are delighted that NYC’s Red Farm is hopping across the pond to open a new place in Covent Garden. But what we’re really hoping is that they bring their Pac Man dumplings with them. Yum.
We always get a bit sad when London Fashion Week is over, but not this season. Burberry is hosting a major photography exhibition exploring the British character and way of life, and we can’t wait to check out the snaps. And Burberry’s September collection too, of course.
