Free brunch, festive hot dogs and a mega Christmas party: it's LondOntheInside’s tips for December

Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this month. Over to them...

Oliver Spencer, Folk & YMC Sample Sale, Shoreditch, Dec 4-6

It's sample sale season and here's a force of style to be reckoned with. Oliver Spencer, Folk and YMC host their annual pop-up sample sale to provide an abundance of Christmas prezzie options (or just an excuse to overhaul your wardrobe). It's cash only and please, no fighting – it's not in the Christmas spirit.

Free Dirty Bones brunch, Kensington, Dec 13

With all the Christmas partying going on you'll need all the help you can get to power through. So if you know your hangover might be a little too much to handle, a free brunch from Dirty Bones might be just the ticket to get you back on track. The catch? You do need to live in west London, or at least have a mate who does.

Eat Your Own Ears, Field Day & Moth Club Christmas Party, Hackney, Dec 18

It's Christmas party time and as it's so miserable outside we're already dreaming of summer festivals. So bringing Eat Your Own Ears and Field Day together for a party at Hackney's newest venue sounds like the next best thing, right? There'll be bands playing live, plus DJs and a Christmas quiz. Don't be a scrooge and paint the town rouge! It's free, but you have to RSVP to get in.

Shake Shack, New Oxford Street, opens Dec 18

It's happening, people. Shake Shack is continuing its London expansion, this time opening a site on New Oxford Street and we gotta say, we're pretty happy given the other offerings in the area. Expect the usual burgers, frozen custards and regular specials.

Santa's Sausage, Bubbledogs, Until Dec 31

Sick of the sight of Christmas burgers? We feel ya, which is why we're pretty excited to grab a bite of ‘Santa’s Sausage’. That's a hot dog loaded with stuffing, cranberry sauce, brussels sprouts and gravy, of course. And not a patty in sight. Add a glass of fizz and make Mr Claus proud.
