Feeling the pinch this week? Don't resign yourself to a sad microwave meal for one just yet. Thai pop-up Pestle is setting up shop for a new residency at the Sacred Café N7 in Holloway and they're offering 50 percent off all food on September 18 and 19, because they're nice like that.

The brains behind the operation are Seb Holmes and Thom Lawson, who both previously worked at the Soho-based Thai restaurant Smoking Goat, so they definitely know what they're doing. They'll be serving up tasty Thai curries and khanom jeen noodles, which are made from rice flour and fermented for hours, which means they're pretty much as far away from instant noodles as you can get.

Pestle is at Sacred Café N7, Unit 14, Highbury Studios, 8 Hornsey St, N7 8EG. Sep 18–Nov 14, 7pm–10.45pm.
