If you're hungry but strapped for cash this week, get down to new Vietnamese joint Fold in Brick Lane, where they're offering a tasty 50 percent discount all week until Friday (October 30) to celebrate the launch. As the name suggests, the restaurant will specialise in food served in folded rice paper, including tiger prawns with lemongrass and roast beef with sesame and purple shiso. And if you fancy getting your hands dirty, they'll be serving up DIY folding sets complete with fish or meat, fresh herbs, vegetables, vermicelli noodles and rice paper, so that you can make them just as you like 'em. But for those who want to let the chefs do all the hard work, the menu also features Vietnamese favourites including chicken wings, grilled squid and pho.
