Boxpark Shoreditch is growing up. Sort of, anyway – the container-based streetfood hub’s upper deck has had a nice refurb. And here’s the exciting bit: to celebrate the reopening, a host of traders are giving away £1 dishes for the rest of this week. A quid!
Alas, you’ve already missed nearly-free sarnies and wraps from Porky’s and The Athenian, as well as doughnuts from Dum Dum, but the rest of the week will see margherita slices dished up by Voodoo Ray’s (Wednesday June 7), sugar and lemon crêpes courtesy of Les Deux Amies (Thursday 8), a Korean hot sauce and smoked sambal mayo laden chicken burger from Coqfighter (Friday 9), and cheese-loaded potatoes from Poptata (Friday as well, lucky gluttons).
A caveat: availability is limited, and you can only got your mitts/maw on these by ordering online in advance here.
And order you should, because every penny raised is going to be donated to emergency homeless initiative Shelter from the Storm and the British Red Cross. Win-win.
