Go to an immersive Alexander McQueen-inspired festive dining experience

Vodka-cured salmon, smoked goat's cheese and macerated Christmas fruit feature on the menu at this two-day festive dining experience hosted by Sarabande, The Lee Alexander McQueen Foundation. It's being co-run by Bistroteque, who originally launched The Reindeer as a three-week immersive dining experience at The Old Truman Brewery, which they say was London's first ever pop-up – so these guys know what they're doing.

This time, The Reindeer is a shorter, more intimate affair but just as exciting. A specially created fang-shaped bar takes centre stage at the venue, which has been decked out with 'wildlife gems' and an illuminated ceiling installation hung with 'knitted leather sculptural forms'. We're not sure what it'll look like but with the McQueen foundation involved it's bound to be impressive. After all, the whole ethos behind Sarabande is to support the UK's creative talent and all proceeds raised will go to the charity.

Each elaborate course is paired with a cocktail created by Ketel One Vodka, and with canapés, a starter, main course, pre-dessert (!) and dessert to get through, you better make sure you arrive hungry.

The Reindeer 2016 takes place on Dec 2-3 at Sarabande Foundation, 22 Hertford Road, N1 5SH.
