London isn't all smog, concrete and high-rise buildings - and to prove it, the London in Bloom awards are celebrating our city's green spaces and the people who maintain them. In this year's awards, the leafy borough of Hillingdon scooped the gold award in the 'large city' category. Areas need a population of more than 200,000 to come under the 'large city' category, and Lambeth, Brent and Ealing also won awards for their glorious greenery. Lovely stuff.
