Harvey Nichols is your new Fairy Godmother

In a Brexit-smiting move, perfectly posh department store Harvey Nichols has launched its ‘Britalia’ campaign. Celebrating all things Italian, it’s embracing the glamour of our Mediterranean cousins with a limited edition ‘desk to dance floor’ makeover package.

This week, a chauffeur will pick you up from your office, ferry you to the Knightsbridge store’s swanky new beauty lounge in a Fiat Alfa Giulia, and once there you’ll be spruced to within an inch of your life. Starting with a glass of fizz, you’ll be given a Charlotte Tilbury ‘Dolce Vita’ makeover, with £15 to spend on that lovely makeup brand.

Your usually-styled-by-the-London-breeze hair will be groomed into something altogether sleeker at the Hershesons Blow Dry Bar, and following an Italian styling session – where we imagine you'll be persuaded that you actually do need a Valentino dress – your nails will be shaped and painted a festive-season-appropriate red, before you’re whisked off to your party. It’s basically the Cinderella experience but without the pumpkin or smashable shoes.

The Britalia Package is available in store until December 1 for £75, although the complimentary chauffeur is only included this week.
