Good news for Bakerloo line users! The 40-year-old Bakerloo line trains are having a much-needed refurbishment. The trains are the oldest on the London Underground, and over the next four years, TfL plans to fit new seats, handrails and lights, as well as carrying out a whole lot of repairs. And by mid 2020, TfL reckons the Bakerloo line will even have air-conditioning. Woah. Here's a sneak peak of what the newly refurbished trains will look like (spoiler: sort of like the old ones):
