Hill & Szrok butchers have opened a pub in Old Street

Hard-to-pronounce London Fields butcher and cookshop Hill & Szrok is spreading its meaty wings and opening the Hill & Szrok Public House in Old Street today. It's basically a lovely pub (the former Three Crowns pub) where they're serving up delicious food as well as great booze.

Similar to their original restaurant, this is nose-to-tail dining with big communal tables, but you can pretty much pull up a pew anywhere and get some great-looking pub grub. There's also a charcoal grill, spit roast, bar snacks to die for and you have to try their 'port and tonic' – it's a revelation.
