What's Harry Potter's favourite food? Takeaway order of the Phoenix. Probably.
Let's move on.
This Christmas, you'll be able to get a lot closer to Harry Potter's dining habits than you ever dreamt possible. Warner Bros. Studios is offering Potter-heads the chance to eat a festive meal in Hogwarts. More precisely, Hogwarts' Great Hall – the actual set used during filming. All diners will be greeted with wands on their tables, and the experience will start with canapes and drinks. There'll be the chance to sample butterbeer in Diagon Alley. Dessert will be served on Platform 9 3/4. Everything will be done up in wintry style to make it all romantical and festive, and it will definitely be great. That's the idea, anyway.
There's only one thing that worries us: the promo photos. What's happening below is almost certainly the result of too much butterbeer. Surely it's not just us who want to rinse our eyeballs out with soap after looking at this photo.
Good news for dinosaur fans, though. Judging by the below photo, it seems that all the waitstaff will be kitted out as Sam Neil in 'Jurassic Park'.
Sorry, sorry. We're being cheeky. This will no doubt be an excellent event that's exactly like being in a Harry Potter novel, except where his enemy isn't Voldemort, but vol-au-vents. And it will definitely, definitely in no way resemble a super-budget version of the Oscars held inside Harry Potter's school, where the guests' faces are plastered with unnervingly fake smiles. Nope. Not gonna happen.
